Overview

‘[This is] a blessed Book which We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], that they might reflect upon its verses and that those of understanding would be reminded.’ (chapter 38, verse 29)

At the Iraqi School we have created a sequenced and thought out curriculum and Quranic teaching method for our students, from Nursery through to GCSE. We ensure all teachers who deliver Quran lessons are specialised in the perfected method of recitation, in order to enable our children to memorise and understand both the words and pronunciation of the Quran.

Our pupils are examined in all subjects at the end of each term.
